Being shy is a burden a lot of people bare. The reason why you may get so much trouble is because shy people tend to give off the wrong image.

Others may think you are mean or rude because you are off by yourself or don't talk as much. They may find you unsetteling if you don't make full eye contact with people. There are many different things they could get from shy people.

The sad thing is most of those ossumptions are never true. Like it or not people judge others all the time... and if you give them nothing to judge you with by staying off by yourself or acting shy towards others they will make things up about you. It's just human nature... and a lot of times the person that doesn't like you isn't really a bad person, you just accidently gave them the wrong image.

If you want people to like you, you have to likable. Try and talk more, be more open, when someon makes eye contact with you give them a smile and make quick eye contact back. Don't be afraid to be yourself and be out there.... it does wonders trust me ;]
