When the girl I love
                                                     told me I tried to much.
                                                        For a second I felt
                                                               offened.

                                                      But then I thought
                                                          why do I try.
                                                 Then I remembered why.
                                                I try because I am in pain.

                                            I am in pain because I am in vain
                                                I was separted from my dad.
                                                 sent away to a place much
                                                     different from my own.

                                                  I put up with my insides
                                                     begin to tear apart
                                                by thoughts never to reside.
                                                       I now realise I try.
                                         I try hard so I can forget about my pain.
